Video statements

  1.  This video is about the new text editing and how much easier it is. You can change fonts, styles, etc. etc. by just going to the top now!
  2. This video was about the new tools palet feature. You can customize it anyway you want!
  3. This one is about the burn tool, it makes sense that you would need a easy way to darken certain parts of the image. Again, I really enjoy how simple it is.
  4. This tool is for giving color and taking it away. All you need to do is select the sponge tool and then just choose saturate or desaturate.
  5. What the clone stamp tool does is that it really just clones the selected image. Then what you do is you click somewhere else and then it will clone the image you clicked! 
  6. Basically what versions is is that its time machine. You save the image and then you can change it back to what it was nine months later!
  7. This video is about how to make your pixelmator app fullscreen. All you do is while in pixelmator go to the menu bar on the top right and click the fullscreen button.
  8. This one is about the Auto-save feature. All you do is nothing! It will save while you work.
  9. This one is about how to get pixelmator. All you have to do is go to the app-store and look up pixelmator and buy and download.
  10. The dodge tool is used to brighten certain parts of the image. All you do is select it and choose which brush and what tones you are wanting to lighten. Then you start!
  11. The smudge tool is used for blur parts of the image. It can be used to create specific effects.
  12. The healing tool is used to fix blemishes or to remove certain parts of the photo. There are multiple ways to fix a part of the image.
  13. The eyedropper tool is used for selecting a certain color in the image. It is very quick and precise.
  14. The red eye tool is used for getting rid or red eyes. You can choose if you wan't the computer to do it for you or you can do it yourself.
  15. Layer groups are used for creating groups of layers. It is made so that you can find your layers easily as well as select them quickly.
  16. The cropping tool is used for cutting out certain parts of the image. It's used so that you can focus on certain parts of the image.
  17. This video was about exporting an image. Its used so that you can bring your image out into the world.
  18. This vid. was about how to open images in pixelmator. There are several different ways of doing so.
  19. The polygonal lasso tool is for selecting parts of the image in a straight line. It works the same way as any other selection tool in pixelmator.
  20. The magic wand to is used for in almost exact selections. You click on a part of the image and then you drag it will increase or decrease the selection, depending on where you drag.
  21. The marquee too is used to make precise selections. You can do color changes as well as special effects, including several other things.
  22. The lasso tool is used for selecting a part of the image. You drag it along where you want to select.
  23. The gradient tool is used to fill images with smooth colors. They usually transition into each other.
  24. The magic eraser tool takes away unwanted background's (well according to the article).  It is very simple, you just select and drag along the parts of the image you don't wan't.
