Painting Number One: So Tienna and I are working together to make our pictures. What i did first was that i wanted to use some blue for grants shirt. I am hoping that it will look nice since the consistency if very nice. I tried with the sponge first. It wasn't looking the best so i'm going to try a brush. It still isn't working very well. I need to see if there is a way to thin out the crayons. I just discovered that if if you wipe with lots of pressure with the sponge it works well. If you use a pencil eraser then it works well as a precision tool. I have just learned that if you want to smudge something you finger is an excellent tool. So for most of the time in this picture my favorite tool was my hand. I used the green in this photograph to make a tie. (If that's what it looks like) And blue for most of it so that that would symbolize the shirt. I chose orange because that would really stand out to the swampy combination i already had.

For my second one though i tried to melt some more of them in a papper plate but the plate was starting to burn. Also what is super weird is that certain colors melt easier then others. The brown color melted very easily. I think that since my crayons aren't working i will try to do pastels. I mean i've done Tienna's hair but i think it might look okay. So i started on pastels. I did the background which was a tan color. I smoothed it around and then added more so that it would be easier to see. Then after that i worked on doing Tienna's T-Shirt which is black. Now that i'm done wit that i am trying to do Tienna's skin. It is difficult. I think i'm going to try and mix a tan-like yellow and a brown and maybe some red. So it doesn't look as well as i hoped her face looks a little weird probably because of her face.After that i just used a little red and spread it around so that it might look a little better. I finished by coloring the couch on the left.
